I’m Caroline Kraft. I am a psychology professor and DIY enthusiast. My fiance and I moved to our dream house on 14 acres in Michigan last summer, and we’ve been working on updating our home ever since. We have many projects to tackle, so I am excited to share what we are working on and what we learn along the way (even the mistakes).

I am not a designer or a skilled craftswoman, but I am skilled at researching the projects I take on. I’ve noticed that the information on many DIY blogs is nowhere near sufficient to complete a project in the best way possible. My goal for this blog is to give you complete and thorough instructions for doing home improvement projects with no secrets, so you can feel confident that you have all the information you need to make long-lasting improvements to your home!  If I can DIY and make it look good, so can you!
